Dark Ritual

"Dark Ritual"

She lurks in the shadows
Preying upon my arrival
My first thought is to turn and flee
To solidify my survival
Just then her teeth sink in my skin
The fear erodes from my mind
And I draw this demon closer
Watching her deep red eyes shine
A smile escapes my lips
As blood trickles into my shirt
She begins to pull away, satisfied
And the wound begins not to hurt
Just then it finally hits me
That this dark ritual is done
Now no one will be able to harm us
And this night has only begun
