It's hard to believe
My own twists of fate
I never would have guessed
How quickly I would meet
Someone who could put me in checkmate
And all it took was
A little bit of faith
My head held high
With a smile and a wink
Instead of complaints and a sigh
My future looks so bright
And my spirits soar
My complaints wither and die
And I'm still standing
